IGDA Game Jam 2014
IGDA Estonia is organizing a game jam weekend that aims to bring together game enthusiasts to compete in planning, designing and creating a playable game from scratch, under the guidance of international gaming experts. Come and meet other developers, learn about the industry and create something awesome!
This year´s theme “Less is More” is giving you a plenty of space for interpretation. Anyone interested in development, design, marketing and business development are welcome to join. No limits or regulations on the genre, platform or OS of the game. You just need to bring your computer and you are ready for action.
Besides prizes by Softlayer, AdCash, Fortumo, AppCampus and French Institute for the best performances selected by the jury of organizers, mentors and sponsors, all the games developed during the event will get the opportunity to be showcased at MängudeÖÖ by Level 1 on October 25th.
We have a great bunch of gaming brains on board and a wide range of hot topics discussed, including game design, programming monetization into your game, free-to-play, marketing, user experience and many more. Check out the list of mentors.
Additionally, AppCampus will add an extra sparkle to the event by bringing their new intake of start-ups over for the whole gaming weekend.
