FreshEst takes new Estonian design to Berlin
Next Wednesday, 10th of October Estonian Design Center introduces the creations of five known Estonian designers to decision makers in Berlin under the brand name FreshEst. “The project aims at finding new sales channels to Estonian designers’ products.The event is directly targeted to local design businesses and media and we cooperate intensely with our local partners which makes FreshEst different to making business contact during traditional fairs. There are so many exciting products made by Estonian designers that are ready for export and we are committed to introducing those in different markets all over the world,” said Sirli Nõmm, Project Manager of FreshEst.
Five designers have been selected to present their creations in Berlin:
Kriss Soonik Loungerie – functional but sexy lingerie and loungewear
ko! – latest high-teck solutions combined with textile design
mooki – handmade carpets
kelpman textile – modern textile design and accessories using traditional know-how
Kristina Viirpalu – exclusive handmade stockings
FreshEst is focused on becoming a brand introducing fresh Estonian design, forming networks and finding new sales channels all over the world. Today we are negotiating the organosation of the next FreshEst event in Hamburd in 2013,” Nõmm added.
The first FreshEst event takes place in Berlin 10/10/2012 in Lux-Eleven Penthouse.
