Experience Design Event, October 23 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands
When products are designed and services are set up, business need to focus more and more on the experience of the consumer. Culturally relevant solutions and quality of the experience is becoming more important, since technologies develop fast and products or services are getting more alike.
Think about magazines using augmented reality (AR), museums that take you back in time and shoes that you can customize yourself.
Basically, Experience Design is present in every stage of the marketing process; not only does a marketeer keep it in mind when designing the product, but also in communicating towards the customer, storytelling, user interface design, brand strategy, creating interaction… Endless possibilities!
Though Experience Design is a fast growing ‘field’, it gets little formal attention and it is still a quite abstract phrase. Which markets are changed or influenced by the growth of Experience Design? What are the possibilities and what to expect in the near future?
The Experience Design Event brings professionals from a broad scale of businesses and markets together to share knowledge and get inspired by each other’s experiences. The conference offers attendees an open atmosphere to learn more about the ‘new segment’ and to start networking. The conference includes a seminar with several keynotes and break out presentations, an exhibition area, lunch and a networking reception afterwards. Several speakers have already been confirmed, though the program is currently being developed.
