Apply for Startup Wiseguys program till 19th of November

Startup Wise Guys applications for second batch are now open. The second batch will start in January 2013 and you can apply until 10th of November.

• Once we’ve worked through the applications in the beginning of November, we’ll invite the most promising applicants to our first round individual interview through Skype. Each team will have at least 2 individual interviews with Wise Guys team members.
• Then we choose 20 teams for a second interview in Tallinn in front of a pool of evaluators – Wise Guys team members, investors, some mentors and other experts. Some interviewers will be harsh, some gentle, but all will see through into your soul and rate how serious you are with your startup.
• Our final decisions will be made based on the interviews. All accepted startups are expected to move to Tallinn for the duration of the program (3 months), as most of the mentoring sessions and events will be held at our office. 3 teams from Spring 2012 teams were also taken to SV for 2 weeks and final Investor Day for all the teams was held in London – so be ready to travel if needed.

We expect each application to be clear, to the point. A great application emphasizes the track record and experience of the team, the potential of the idea and triggers interestwithin the first few seconds. Adding visual materials such as Youtube videos about the team and the idea is welcome. We don’t expect that all the videos are high quality, they should show who you are and that you are a creative and strong team with belief in your startup and the business.
