Tartu Centre for Creative Industries runs two workshops

On Saturday, May 19th form 12:00 to 17:00. Two workshops for artists and creative entrepreneurs will be available in Tartu. Both coordinated by the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries.
The workshop on THE MARKETING MINDSET will provide a short introduction to marketing and will help to understand the language of those who make money and can pay for your creativity. Understanding of the main rules and principles of marketing is important in order to find a joint language with eventual partners or clients in business organizations.

The workshop on THE DESIGN OF LARGE SIZE COMPOSITION will guide through the experience making to solve every step of composition and make sure of significance of each activity. It will give the knowledge of structure of an artwork and collaboration inside it – that contradicts to fear of creating large size artworks.

The lecturers of the seminar about the marketing will be Jānis Blunavs and Ainārs Pudāns. Jānis Blunavs is a professional painter, holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts of the Art Academy of Latvia, as well he has finished MBA professional study program “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” in Riga Technical University. He runs a creative marketing communications’ agency Esplanade in Riga. He has been educated within Artists’ Acceleration Team by ArtLab in Copenhagen. Ainārs Pudāns is Creative Director at Esplenade Agency and has Master’s Degree in Music, Latvian Academy of Music. He has worked as producer of Latvian National Symphony Orchestra.

The lecturer of the seminar about the creation of large size artworks will be
Baiba Sprance – a painter, art teacher ant art reviewer. She has gained the Master of Arts degree in Latvian Academy of Arts. Currently she works in the Latvian National Museum of Art as curator of educational programs both for children and adults. She is a lecturer in the Latvian Culture Academy and has had various publications in Latvian art magazines.
